How does Blur Faces in a Photo work?

Choose a photo — faces are detected automatically and outlined with boxes. Tap a box to skip a face, or drag on the photo to add your own box. Pick blur, pixelate or solid box, adjust the strength, then run the tool and download the result.

Can I trust the output for production?

The photo is never uploaded. Face detection and the blur itself run in your browser using an on-device model and the canvas, and the exported file carries no EXIF data, including GPS location, since re-encoding it drops that metadata.
